Security Manager
PURPOSE OF JOB
The Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and property within the waterpark.
Oversee, development of security policies, coordinating emergency responses, managing security personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to provide a secure and enjoyable environment for all guests, including staff.
Ensuring the safety & security of everyone in the waterpark.
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Security Manager in carrying out its daily duties serves to assist the General Manager in determining the policy in the field of organizing security and order activities and prevention of emergencies, and in the execution of its duties, assisted by the Assistant Security Manager, if any, and Security Supervisor and Assistant Security Supervisor, as for duties and responsibilities.
Conduct regular security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Implement and supervise the implementation of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
Conducting supervision on the implementation of security tasks undertaken by members.
Conducting coaching and training, and improving the discipline of all Security Members he leads.
Plan and arrange safety and security activities regularly in the framework of human resource development, in order to create a safe, comfortable, peaceful, and dynamic atmosphere in the environment.
Organizing and controlling all the Security Department through their respective Security Supervisor / Assistant Supervisor.
Provide periodic (Weekly / Monthly) reports to management managers through on the implementation of Safety Security tasks, Guidance of personnel, supervision, and control of Security members.
Monitoring the implementation of security activities in general.
Perform a performance evaluation of each Security Supervisor and all Security members he leads.
Provide input/suggestions to management, in order to develop the safety security system by the Vision and Mission Company that has been established.
Delegate tasks and authority to the Assistant Security Manager and the Security Supervisor in the execution of daily tasks and special tasks.
Organize coordinated reporting activities and data preparation as a bridge of information and instructions coming from Management for all members of the Security Team.
Together with the Security & Community Manager to coordinate with the Local Authorities, local community leaders, and other possible security-related related, to improve relationships.
Take the initial steps in solving problems that occur in the field, and report to the General Manager if there are things that can not be overcome, to get instructions on the implementation of the next task.
Conform to and enforce policies, procedures, rules, and regulations as laid down in the park to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service.
RELATIONS:
Conduct periodic reports both orally and in writing to the Head of Department about all aspects of safety and security, as well as the scope of responsibility of the other.
Establish proper relationships with other departments.
Perform special duties as required by the General Manager/management
GENERAL
Offering the correct information regarding all facilities available in the Park.
Cooperate and maintain good relations with fellow employees and Superiors.
Prepare to cover other responsibilities as long as it is aimed at achieving the general idea mentioned above.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager in a safety security role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Security certifications.
Experience in risk management, crisis management, and emergency response.
Proven ability to develop and implement safety and security plans and procedures.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Understanding of local laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in safety, security systems, and technologies.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
