Senior Accounting Staff

About the role

At PT. Mitra Utama Plastindo, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Staff to join our dynamic accounting team in Surabaya, East Java. As a full-time member of our organisation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and accounting operations.

What youll be doing

1. Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

2. Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, including bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

3. Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports

4. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations

5. Providing support to the Finance team and other departments as needed

6. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

7. Mentoring and training junior accounting staff

What were looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting

2. Degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable university

3. Strong knowledge of Indonesian Accounting Standards (SAK) and tax regulations

4. Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

8. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and mentor junior staff

9. Well-versed in Indonesias Tax Regulations
