We are expanding our expert team to include a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer who will focus on delivering GSPs turnkey digital and secure industrial systems across strategic sectors, including oil & gas, utilities, and telecommunications.

Role Overview

You will lead the design, integration, and deployment of advanced electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for GSPs industrial and security-related projects. This role requires a hybrid skill set: deep expertise in electrical-instrumentation systems, combined with strong understanding of radio, telco, and industrial automation frameworks—including deployment in oil & gas environments.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical & Instrumentation Systems

• Design, specify, and commission E&I systems for industrial automation, wellsite control, and perimeter security

• Configure and integrate field instruments (pressure, flow, temperature, vibration) with DCS/SCADA/PLC platforms

• Conduct FAT, SAT, loop testing, and commissioning for secure and mission-critical operation

Secure Communications & Telco Integration

• Integrate electrical systems with secure radio (VHF/UHF), microwave, and fiber-optic communications infrastructure

• Support power and grounding design for secure telecom shelters and tactical communication deployments

• Collaborate on remote terminal units (RTUs) and hardened enclosures for national security and oilfield operations

Industrial Digital Integration

• Collaborate with control engineers and software teams to integrate E&I infrastructure into GSPs digital twin, SCADA, and AI-monitoring frameworks

• Support sensor fusion, telemetry design, and IIoT device implementation across offshore and remote industrial sites

Oil & Gas Field Engineering

• Deploy instrumentation for well testing, production monitoring, gas leak detection, and safety-critical systems

• Work closely with upstream and midstream clients to ensure compliance with hazardous area regulations (IECEx, ATEX, etc.)

• Troubleshoot and optimize data acquisition systems in harsh environmental conditions

Requirements

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree in:

• Electrical Engineering

• Instrumentation & Control Engineering

• Mechatronics Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 6+ years of experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer in:

• Oil & Gas industry (required)

• Industrial automation/telco / secure communications projects (required)

• Experience working in regulated, high-stakes environments such as:

• Offshore platforms, refineries, SCADA-integrated systems

• Perimeter security, security/industrial base infrastructure, or remote telecommunication sites

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with field instrumentation (HART, Modbus, analog/digital sensors)

• Familiarity with SCADA/PLC systems (Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Honeywell, etc.)

• Knowledge of industrial protocols and telemetry (RS485, OPC UA, MQTT, etc.)

• Understanding of grounding, surge protection, and hazardous-area equipment standards

• Ability to interpret P&ID, loop diagrams, SLDs, and installation drawings

Preferred

• Experience with radio tower power systems and DC load management

• Certifications: IECEx/ATEX, CompEx, ISA, or relevant Oil & Gas instrumentation training

• Background in supporting military-grade or mission-critical communication systems

• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or ETAP
