JOB SUMMARY

ZODIAC BARESTO is seeking a highly experienced Senior Head Chef with multiyear experience in established kitchens. This position will lead daily kitchen operations, manage the team, and bring Zodiac Barestos newly Executive Chefs vision to life with consistency, very high quality standard, and precision. This role is for a passionate chef with strong leadership, deep kitchen discipline, and a love for quality-driven creative food. You will be the backbone of the kitchen—translating ideas into execution, service into rhythm, and prep into perfection.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring prep, service, and closing run with efficiency and high consistency

• Execute Executive Chefs recipes with precision, and always maintaining strong production quality

• Manage, train, and create SOP for all BOH staff, responsible for a disciplined and collaborative kitchen culture

• Oversee inventory, ordering, waste control, and cost management

• Create prep systems, structures, and service flows that are reliable, scalable, and clean

• Be present and hands-on during service—solving problems, leading the line, and setting the tone

• Work closely with the FOH and operations teams to ensure smooth service transitions and communication

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in professional kitchens, with at least 2 years as Senior or Head Chef position

• Deep understanding of kitchen systems, prep flow, food costing, and supplier management

• Highly organized, disciplined, and confident in leading a team under pressure

• Understanding and/or experience with Japanese cuisine is a plus point

• Speak English fluently
