Senior Translator English

• Translation (Mandarin-English-Mandarin): Accurately translate a variety of materials, including business documents, technical manuals, meeting minutes, emails, presentations, and corporate communications.
• Interpretation: Provide real-time interpretation during high-level meetings, discussions, conferences, and training sessions-both formal and informal.
• Cultural Bridging: Ensure translations reflect not only linguistic accuracy but also cultural context, tone, and intent.
• Liaison Support: Facilitate communication between the Indonesian team and Chinese stakeholders both internal and external (manufacturers, suppliers, etc.).
• Document Management: Assist with organizing bilingual documentation, maintaining translation glossaries, and ensuring version control.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Sales, Aftersales, Engineering, Product Planning, and HR to support smooth communication across functions.

• Proven experience as a professional translator/interpreter, ideally in a corporate or technical setting (automotive experience is a plus).
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written); native-level proficiency is preferred.
• Proficiency in Japanese is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with technical terminology (especially in automotive or manufacturing industries) is highly desirable.
• High attention to linguistic detail, accuracy, and cultural nuance.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple translation requests, and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support executive and operational teams.
• A bachelors degree in Linguistics, Translation, Chinese Literature, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
