We are currently offering two exciting opportunities for experienced developers who are fluent in Japanese: one for a Backend Software Developer and another for a Frontend Software Developer. Candidates may apply to the role that best matches their experience and interests.

Job Overview

We are seeking talented Frontend and Backend Software Developers to join our dynamic team in building high-quality software solutions in collaboration with our overseas Japanese partners. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications using Node.js and Microsoft Azure, focusing on scalable APIs and cloud-based systems. As a Frontend Developer, you will craft responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React and TypeScript, working closely with designers and backend developers to ensure seamless user experiences. These roles require strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and proficiency in the Japanese language.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.

• Integrate and manage cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• Develop APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend systems.

• Optimize backend performance, scalability, and security.

• Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js.

• Proficiency in deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure.

• Fluency in Japanese for effective technical communication.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and data modeling (SQL/NoSQL).

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines on Azure.

• Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• JLPT N2 certification or higher (N1 preferred).

• Having resided in Japan for over 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web interfaces using React and TypeScript.

• Work closely with designers to implement UI/UX designs.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and frontend performance.

• Write modular, reusable, and clean code.

• Integrate with backend APIs to deliver seamless user experiences.

• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.

• Debug and resolve frontend-related issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development with React and TypeScript.

• Fluency in Japanese for technical discussions and documentation.

• Strong foundation in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience with Jotai state management and webpack.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or other CSS frameworks.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).

• JLPT N2 certification or higher (N1 preferred).

• Having resided in Japan for over 5 years.
