Student Recruitment Coordinator

The Student Recruitment Coordinator provides expert assistance in relation to applicants and entry requirements to education agents and students for Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia (DLI).

The role provides support in relation to the recruitment of prospective students relating to the DLI product offering, and also supports students by offering guidance and support with applications.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Relevant qualifications and demonstrated work experience OR significant work experience within the education industry or related area, including experience in the Indonesian education system
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to deal effectively with stakeholders by phone, e-mail and in person
• High level computer skills including an understanding of and experience in using various student management systems
• Demonstrated commitment to the provision of a high-quality client-focused services
• Demonstrated team leadership and management skills with the ability to create and maintain an effective, customer focussed and efficient team culture
• Experience in managing a high volume of tasks with competing priorities in an organised manner and within strict deadlines
• Written communication skills, including the ability to accurately and independently prepare basic correspondence, on a range of student admission and recruitment matters
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to offer solutions to problems
• Demonstrated conversational fluency in English and Indonesian

Desirable:

• Work experience in higher education sector, preferably in a commercial setting
• Experience with relevant CRM systems
