Tax Assistant

About the role

This is a full-time Tax Assistant position at PT Matahari Terbit Kalimantan, located in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the tax team, ensuring the companys compliance with relevant tax regulations and requirements.

What youll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation and filing of tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax, and other relevant tax submissions

• Conducting research and analysis to stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations

• Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate recording and reporting of tax-related transactions

• Providing administrative support, such as maintaining tax documentation and records

• Participating in tax audits and liaising with tax authorities as needed

• Supporting the implementation of tax planning strategies and initiatives

• have experience working with Cortex

• experienced in working on basic PPh

• Experienced in handling SP2DK

• Willing to work overtime

What were looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a tax-related role, preferably in the accounting or finance industry

• Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in using tax software and spreadsheet applications

• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field

• Understanding basic Accounting

• Understanding CITR

• Fluent in English
