Tax Officer

About the role

Join PT. Gree Electric Appliances Indonesia as a Tax Officer. In this full-time role based in North Jakarta, Jakarta, you will be responsible for ensuring the companys tax compliance and providing strategic tax advice to the organisation.

What youll be doing

• Prepare and file all necessary tax returns and documents in a timely manner

• Conduct tax planning and research to optimise the companys tax position

• Liaise with tax authorities and handle tax audits and assessments

• Analyse tax laws and regulations to identify opportunities for tax savings

• Provide tax advice and support to other departments within the company

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records and documentation

• Stay informed of changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their impact to the organisation

• Ensure that Income Tax withholding and tax invoice issuance comply with applicable tax regulations.

• Prepare tax reports such as monthly Income Tax (PPh) and VAT (PPN) returns and annual tax return

• Perform sales and expense reconciliation

What were looking for

• A degree in Accounting or Taxation, with 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar tax role

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations

• Proficient in using tax software and spreadsheet applications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Certification in taxation or CPA/CA qualifications would be an advantage
