Vendor Management Specialist

PT. Sinotrans CSC Indonesia, a leading 3PL provider, seeks an experienced Vendor Management Specialist based in Indonesia. This role, under a third-party contract, involves managing relationships with trucking, shipping line, and airline vendors to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full vendor lifecycle: sourcing, negotiation, onboarding, performance monitoring for trucking, sea, and air freight vendors.
• Maintain and expand the multi-modal transportation vendor database.
• Ensure vendor compliance, negotiate rates, and manage contracts.
• Collaborate with internal operations teams.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors degree (S1).
• Minimum 3 years of Vendor Management experience (Logistics/Supply Chain preferred).
• Demonstrated experience managing trucking, shipping line, and/or airline vendors.
• Mandatory: Fluent English (written & spoken).
• Essential: Proficient Mandarin (spoken, read, write).
• Highly Desirable: Existing database of trucking vendors.
• Preferred: Valid Indonesian Drivers License (SIM A / C).
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with analytical skills.
• Required: Willingness to travel frequently (mobile position).
• Required: Willingness to be employed via a third-party agency.
