Job Description:
- Assist the culinary team in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients.
- Support in cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and guidelines.
- Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures to maintain freshness and safety.
- Help in cleaning and organizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
Job Requirements:
- High school/diploma or equivalent. Culinary or hospitality training is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Cook Helper or similar role in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
- Passion for the culinary arts and a willingness to learn and grow in the kitchen environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a kitchen team and communicate with colleagues.
- Hygiene and Safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations, personal hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices.
