As we continue to strengthen our Modern Trade presence across Eastern Indonesia, we are looking for a driven and experienced sales professional to lead our Modern Trade operations across Papua and Ambon.

About the Role

As Area Sales Manager for Modern Trade in Papua & Ambon, you will be responsible for delivering sales targets, managing key account relationships, and expanding Frisian Flag Indonesia's MT footprint across the territory. This role requires strong commercial acumen, effective people leadership, and a commitment to in-store execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver sales volume and productivity targets across the Modern Trade channel in Papua and Ambon territory
• Manage and develop relationships with MT key accounts including minimarkets, supermarkets, and hypermarkets in the region
• Lead and coach a team of Sales Representatives to ensure consistent outlet coverage and execution standards
• Ensure proper implementation of promotional programs and perfect store standards — OSA/OOS compliance, planogram adherence, and visibility
• Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance, identify gaps, and develop corrective action plans
• Manage trade spending and A&P investment within approved budgets to maximize ROI
• Monitor competitor activities and market developments to support informed business decisions

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in FMCG, with at least 2 years in a Modern Trade channel role
• Demonstrated leadership capability with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions
• Familiarity with Eastern Indonesia markets (Papua, Maluku, or similar regions) is a significant advantage
• Willing to be based in Jayapura, with openness to future placement across other regions in Indonesia for further professional growth
