About the role

Jakarta Camera, a leading retailer of photography equipment and accessories, is seeking an experienced Accounting professional to join their dynamic team in West Jakarta, Jakarta. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the companys financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

What youll be doing

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies

• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities as needed

• Support the month-end and year-end closing process

• Provide financial data and insights to support the decision-making process

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices

What were looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the retail or similar industry

• Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations
