Area Sales Manager

About the role

As an Area Sales Manager for AXA Financial Indonesia, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of sales representatives across multiple retail locations in Malang, East Java. This is a full-time position that will require you to develop and execute effective sales strategies, drive team performance, and ensure exceptional customer service.

What youll be doing

  1. Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve their individual and collective sales targets

  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share and revenue within your assigned territory

  3. Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

  4. Provide coaching and training to your team to enhance their skills and performance

  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction

  6. Represent the company at industry events and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

  7. Monitor and report on team and individual performance metrics

What were looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales management role within the retail or consumer products industry

  2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels

  4. Proficient in analysing sales data and using insights to drive strategic decision-making

  5. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

  6. Familiarity with the Malang, East Java market and the competitive landscape

  7. Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
