Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Artificial Intelligence Senior Engineer located in Bandung.

We are seeking talented and hands-on AI Engineers to designing, developing, implementing and deploy AI-powered web applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, FastAPI, React, and Berikut..js, and a keen interest in building AI Agents using frameworks such as Microsoft Autogen, Agno, OpenAI Agent Kit, or CrewAI.

This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI systems — from fine-tuning models to building production-grade agentic applications — within a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Daily tasks include working with pattern recognition, neural networks, natural language processing (NLP), and software development. The role requires collaboration with other engineering teams to drive AI capabilities forward and contribute to the development of Berikut.-generation AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-driven applications with full-stack capabilities using React / Berikut..js (frontend) and FastAPI / Python (backend).
• Build, integrate, and deploy AI agents capable of autonomous decision-making using frameworks like Autogen, Agno, OpenAI Agent Kit, or CrewAI.
• Develop APIs and data pipelines that connect AI models to enterprise systems.
• Fine-tune and deploy small language models (SLMs) or open-source LLMs to meet specific business needs.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to improve data ingestion, preprocessing, and analytics workflows.
• Apply data science and analytics techniques to extract actionable insights and enhance AI model performance.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in real-world production environments.
• Document development processes and contribute to internal AI knowledge bases.

Requirements

Core Technical Skill

• Frontend: Proficient in React.js, Berikut..js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Backend: Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI.
• AI & ML: Working knowledge of model integration, prompt engineering, and model deployment workflows.
• Version Control: Experience with Git / GitHub or GitLab.
• Databases: Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• APIs: Ability to build and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

Preferred AI-Specific Skills

• Hands-on experience with AI Agent frameworks such as:
• Microsoft Autogen
• Agno
• OpenAI Agent Kit
• CrewAI
• Experience fine-tuning small language models (SLMs) such as LLaMA, Mistral, or Phi models.
• Experience in data science or data analytics (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.).
• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Milvus, Pinecone) and RAG pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud deployment (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in AI or full-stack development (exceptional fresh graduates will also be considered).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning in AI technologies.
• Expertise in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks
• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles
• Experience in software development
• Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
