Assistant Manager - Product & Partnership

Job Description:

• Develop the market for new products and suppliers in the petrochemical industry, particularly in the plastics and rubber segments.

• Source new products and actively build and maintain relationships with potential suppliers.

• Provide technical support and product knowledge to the Sales & Marketing team to enhance sales effectiveness.

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for new product development.

• Actively participate in contract negotiations with suppliers and business partners.

• Mentor and guide junior team members in technical and commercial aspects.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the plastics/rubber/petrochemical industry, with a focus on market development and product sourcing, preferably in Supervisor/Managerial level

• Strong understanding of chemical/petrochemical raw materials and their applications in the plastic and rubber industries.

• Proven negotiation and communication skills, especially in a B2B setting.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with basic leadership skills.

• Strong market analysis and strategic thinking capabilities.
