Associate Travel Designer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Travel Designer to join our growing team. This role involves supporting the design and execution of exceptional, tailor-made travel experiences for our clients while managing the operational aspects of bookings and supplier coordination.

In addition to travel operations, this role will serve as the companys Sustainability Coordinator, responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring sustainability initiatives that align with our environmental and social responsibility goals.

Travel Design & Operations

• Book hotels, land arrangements, and flight/boat tickets for clients.
• Create quotations and prepare a presentable itinerary using the CMS.
• Source and manage relationships with suppliers, DMCs (Destination Management Companies), vendors, and hotels.
• Source and manage B2B partnerships.
• Client consultation & needs assessment.
• Itinerary curation & design.
• Track prepayments and payments required for suppliers and partners.
• Prepare vouchers for hotel reservations and other necessary arrangements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during their trip, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues.
• Work closely with all teams, particularly Travel Designers, to ensure an exceptional client experience.
• Report directly to the Travel Designer for decision-making in case of last-minute trip changes or both minor and major issues.
• Address client complaints related to third-party matters.
• Compile reports based on client feedback during trips, when available.
• Summarize and analyze sales data to provide insights and recommendations to improve future sales strategies.

Sustainability Coordination

• Lead and coordinate sustainability initiatives across the company.
• Maintain documentation and reports for sustainability certifications and audits (e.g., Travelife).
• Collaborate with partners and suppliers to promote responsible and ethical tourism practices.
• Work closely with HR to organize sustainability-related training, campaigns, and awareness programs for the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Sustainability, or a related field (preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in travel design, operations, or related roles.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for travel, cultural exploration, and sustainability.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
