Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Ubud. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, ensuring the highest quality of food is served, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene. The role also includes menu planning, inventory management, training kitchen staff, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Expertise in culinary arts, including food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management
• Leadership skills, ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and kitchen hygiene protocols
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Experience in Mediterranean cuisine is a plus
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication skills in English
