Business Development Section Head

Job descriptions:

  • Ensure effective day-to-day operational activity in Business Development
  • Collaborate with related department in BINUS University for various Business Development program and services
  • Coordinate effective cooperation and collaboration to support activities in Business Development
  • Review and explore market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels (in coordination with New Venture Scout Team (NVS))
  • Create development and business plans, forecasting revenue / sales targets, and growth projections of potential new businesses
  • Develop financial projections, investment proposal, and reports for Board of Management (BoM) and other investors (if needed)
  • Maintain and build positive relationships with existing and potential key partners and clients
  • Design presentation materials and participate in meetings with internal and external key partners
  • Explore and find fundings to develop new businesses, either from BINUS or external investors
  • Identify business opportunities and assess candidate companies based on potential impact
  • Set-up team arrangement or build the team for the approved new businesses
  • Work on implementation of the approved new business, ensuring quality execution and timely delivery 
  • Deal with a variety of ad hoc issues related to Business Development

Management Support Activities:

  • Provide Report to direct Supervisor 
  • Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost) 
  • Perform activities related to Quality Management System
  • Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor

Education Requirement:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree

Work Exposure/ Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in Senior Staff level position, or  
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience
  • Experience working in Business development and/or in startups, or 
  • Experience or proven ability in developing product and/or marketing strategies
