Job Description:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Child Psychologist to support the emotional, social, and developmental well-being of children aged 2 to 6 in our preschool. The role involves conducting assessments, offering counseling, collaborating with teachers and parents, and providing strategies to help children thrive in a Montessori learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and assess the behavior and development of children ages 2-6

• Provide individual and group counseling as needed

• Work closely with teachers and staff to address behavioral and emotional concerns

• Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual needs

• Offer guidance and support to parents on child development and mental health

• Maintain records and documentation of assessments and progress

• Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment

Qualifications:

• Masters degree or higher in Psychology (Child or Educational Psychology preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with young children

• Licensed or certified to practice psychology (preferred)

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Strong understanding of early childhood development and behavior

• Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills

• Able to start immediately and commit to a minimum 2-year term

• Must currently reside in Jayapura, Papua or be willing to relocate
