JOB PURPOSE

To supervise and manage the collection activities to ensure timely recovery of overdue payments, maintain portfolio quality, and minimize Non-Performing Loans (NPL) in accordance with Perusahaan policies and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Collection Activity Supervision

• Supervise the daily activities of Collection Officers / Field Collectors in performing collection tasks.
• Ensure all collection activities are conducted in accordance with Perusahaan policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor both desk collection and field collection performance.

2. Delinquency Monitoring

• Monitor overdue accounts based on aging categories, including:
• 1–30 days past due (Early Delinquency)
• 31–60 days past due
• 61–90 days past due
• Over 90 days past due (Non-Performing Loan / NPL).
• Develop and implement appropriate collection strategies based on delinquency status.

3. Team Management

• Manage and supervise the performance of the collection team.
• Assign accounts or collection territories to collection officers.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team productivity.

4. Customer Negotiation and Resolution

• Assist the collection team in negotiating repayment solutions with delinquent customers.
• Recommend suitable solutions such as:
• payment rescheduling
• restructuring arrangements
• settlement agreements.

5. Asset Recovery Management

• Coordinate asset recovery processes for severely delinquent accounts.
• Supervise repossession activities in compliance with Perusahaan policies and legal requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of repossession cases.

6. Coordination with Internal Departments

Work closely with internal departments including:

• Credit Risk Department regarding debtor quality evaluation.
• Legal Department for cases requiring legal action.
• Sales / Marketing Department for customer information verification.
• Operations Department for account data validation.

7. Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare and submit collection performance reports to management.
• Analyze collection performance indicators including:
• Collection rate
• Overdue ratio
• Recovery rate
• NPL ratio.
• Provide recommendations to improve collection effectiveness and portfolio quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Law, or related fields.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in collection or recovery, preferably in a leasing or multifinance Perusahaan.
• Experience in team leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
