Commis Chef

Department: Kitchen

Reports to: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef

Location: Gambinos, Seminyak

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food under the guidance of senior chefs.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation areas.

• Ensure that all food items are stored properly and labeled accordingly.

• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.

• Measure ingredients and prepare mise-en-place as directed.

• Learn and apply various cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

• Assist in minimizing waste and controlling food costs.

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen experience

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to learn and take direction.

• Team player with good communication skills.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
