Cost Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Surabaya, East Java. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the companys cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and driving cost optimisation initiatives.

What youll be doing

• Manage the companys cost accounting function, including monitoring and analysing production costs, inventory valuation and variance analysis

• Prepare detailed cost reports and financial statements to support strategic decision-making

• Implement and maintain efficient cost accounting systems and procedures

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

• Liaise with cross-functional teams to provide cost insights and recommendations

• Supervise and mentor junior cost accounting staff

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

What were looking for

• Degree in Accounting or related field

• Minimum 3 years experience in a cost accounting or financial analysis role, preferably in a manufacturing or retail

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis and inventory management

• Proficient in using financial software (ERP Odoo/ Accurate/ SAP) and spreadsheet applications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and mentor junior staff

• Familiarity with Indonesian accounting regulations and reporting requirements
