The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Customer Support & Operations Associate to support our team across both Gump and KaChick.

You will handle day‑to‑day customer enquiries and operational tasks around bookings, events, and platform usage, so that founders, sales, and product can move faster. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail‑oriented, has experience working as a virtual assistant or similar remote support role, and enjoys helping both customers and teammates.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • Respond to customer and photographer enquiries via email, chat, and messaging (e.g. WhatsApp, IG, website chat).
  • Help users with basic questions about accounts, bookings, galleries, and platform features.
  • Escalate more complex issues to the right team member and follow through until resolved.
  • Maintain a helpful, professional, and friendly tone in all communications.

Operations & Coordination

  • Support booking and event operations: update schedules, booking details, and status in our systems.
  • Coordinate with photographers, partners, and internal teams on confirmations, changes, and follow‑ups.
  • Perform routine operational and administrative tasks such as data entry, updating spreadsheets/CRMs, preparing simple reports, and organising digital files and documents.
  • Assist with invoices or basic paperwork when needed (following clear guidelines).

Platform & Process Support

  • Help test new features or flows from a user point of view and flag issues or bugs to the team.
  • Maintain and update simple documentation, FAQs, and internal notes to make future support faster.
  • Suggest small improvements to support and operations processes, templates, and internal workflows.

What You Bring

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer support, operations/admin, or as a virtual assistant / remote assistant.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English; Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is a strong advantage.
  • Good organisation and attention to detail; you are comfortable handling multiple small tasks, following checklists, and keeping records accurate.
  • Comfortable using online tools (e.g. Google Workspace, spreadsheets, chat tools, basic CRM or ticketing tools).
  • A helpful, patient, and service‑oriented mindset—you enjoy solving problems for customers and supporting teammates.
  • Interest in photography, travel, or the creator economy is a plus.
