Database Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Analyze database issues and troubleshoot or configure the database accordingly
  • Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed
  • Supervise the modification of the existing database software
  • Manage activities related to access, maintenance, and database troubleshooting
  • Responsible for Database Tuning & Database Performance
  • Responsible for Database Replication
  • Responsible for database storage capacity evaluation

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
  • Proven knowledge of SQL Servers
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Information Security
  • In-depth knowledge of Database Administration (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL) and Database Replication (Oracle Data Guard, PostgreSQL Replication, SQL Replication).
  • Familiarity with AWS, PostgreSQL, UNIX, and Windows platforms, including Windows Server, Linux, and SUSE.
  • Experience with IBM WebSphere and Oracle WebLogic.
