Proforest Southeast Asia is looking for an experienced and passionate sustainability leader to join our dynamic team. As Deputy Director, you will lead a growing portfolio of impactful projects focused on responsible agricultural commodity sourcing and sustainable landscape management across Malaysia and Indonesia.

🔍 In this role, you will:

✅ Direct and deliver cross-commodity landscape and supply chain sustainability projects

✅ Collaborate with corporate partners, industry groups, and governments to scale positive impact

✅ Oversee and empower a diverse, high-performing team

✅ Contribute to strategic growth and innovation across Proforests global network

🌱 You are:

🔹 A senior professional with at least 15 years experience in agriculture, supply chains, or sustainability

🔹 A skilled project manager and team leader

🔹 Well-versed in NDPE, international sustainability frameworks, and voluntary certification schemes

🔹 Fluent in English and comfortable engaging across cultures

🔹 Experienced in working with corporates, NGOs, and/or multi-stakeholder initiatives

🎯 Bonus if you bring:

▪️ Familiarity with palm oil, rubber, pulp & paper, or other key commodities

▪️ Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin or Thai

▪️ A relevant Masters degree or training facilitation experience
