Posisi Overview:

The die-casting head Posisi will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the die-casting department in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up and operating die-casting machines, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring high-quality metal cast parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve the Perusahaan's talent strategy objectives by enhancing organizational capabilities and effectiveness.
• Apply scientific methods, processes, and tools to identify gaps in talent and competencies
• Improve skills, knowledge, competence, and overall organizational performance.
• Develop a strong talent pipeline and update policies and programs to support business success.
• Manage daily die casting production, including planning and coordination with other departments and organizations.
• Drive cost reduction through VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) activities to improve departmental financial performance.
• Elevate lean maturity levels and implement quality assurance directly within operations.
• Conduct operation technology benchmarking against market leaders.
• Participate in Perusahaan management meetings and oversee daily 6S activities, quality control, and the development of new projects alongside the design team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 15 years of experience in a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of die casting tools and processes, 6S methodology, and quality control.
• Fluent in English with strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); experience with SAP is a plus.
• Positive attitude, adaptable to Perusahaan culture, and committed to continuous improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, logical thinking to assess issues and take proper actions.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks while performing well under pressure.
• Willing to be placed in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia.
