Engineer HVAC

Job Description:

·    Field HVAC Engineer With 3 years experience

 A. Technical & Site Execution Responsibilities:

1. Analyse technical drawings, specifications and provided BoQ to make sure all the require documents/ information complete and correct.

2. Installation, Inspection, and Maintaining HVAC system installation (ducting, piping, insulation, equipment).

3. Troubleshooting HVAC system installation (ducting, piping, insulation, equipment).

4. Give input and coordinate with scheduler to produce construction schedule.

5. Support the procurement process through to PO issuance, coordinating with procurement to ensure correct material will be purchased.

6. Develop value engineering proposals based on consultant designs to optimize project costs (if needed).

7. Prepares estimates cost for construction quantity; manpower, materials (specifications), tools & equipment, material mobilization, etc., based on specifications, drawings, and other materials for equipment installation (HVAC works).

8. Prepare maintenance and operational reports

Requirements:

·      Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 2 years of field experience, with a focus on HVAC systems, preferably in data center or other industrial projects.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and other construction documentation

• Should have an understanding of HVAC systems, materials, and construction methods

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Must be detailed, accurate and deadline oriented, able to work long hours and under deadline pressure

• Some AutoCAD experience is an advantage

• MS Office (Excel for reporting, Word for documentation)

• Carriers Hourly Analysis Program (optional)

• Duct/Pipe sizing software (optional)

• CFD tools (optional)
