About the role

PT FHG TEKSTIL INDONESIA is seeking an experienced Exim Officer to join our team in Demak, Central Java. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the companys import and export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimising logistical efficiency.

What youll be doing

  • Coordinating the import and export of goods, including processing documentation, arranging transportation, and liaising with customs authorities
  • Monitoring and analysing market trends to identify opportunities for growth and cost savings
  • Ensuring all import and export activities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations
  • Developing and implementing strategies to streamline logistics and improve supply chain efficiency
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for management

    • What were looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Exim Officer or freight/cargo forwarding role
  • Thorough understanding of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and logistics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimise logistics and identify efficiencies
  • Proficient in using relevant software and technology to manage operations
  • Flexible and adaptable to handle the dynamic nature of the freight/cargo forwarding industry
