Tentang Kami

We are developing a unique island hospitality project in the Mentawai Islands, Indonesia.

The development combines luxury accommodation, Surf-Resort, Surfcharter Yachts, in one of Indonesia's most spectacular and remote Lokasis.

Phase 1 includes luxury villas, guest facilities, staff accommodation, utility infrastructure, landscaping, marine facilities, and all supporting operational infrastructure.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Development Project Leader to take ownership of the project on site and lead the construction process from start to finish.

This is not an office-based project management role. We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, coordinating people, and ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will become the owners' representative on site and be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the development.

You will coordinate contractors, suppliers, consultants, and local teams while ensuring construction quality, budget control, progress tracking, logistics management, and timely project delivery.

This Posisi is intended as a long-term role. Following successful completion of the Mentawai project, the candidate may lead future hospitality, marine, and real estate developments within our group.

Key Responsibilities

Site Leadership

• Lead daily site operations and construction activities.
• Act as the owners' representative on site.
• Coordinate all contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Ensure all work is performed according to approved plans and specifications.
• Identify and resolve site issues before they impact project timelines.

Construction Management

• Monitor construction quality and workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with drawings and technical specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks.
• Manage construction sequencing and work planning.
• Coordinate project handovers and commissioning.

Planning & Progress Control

• Develop and maintain construction schedules.
• Track project milestones and critical deadlines.
• Identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Produce regular progress reports with photographs and updates.

Procurement & Logistics

• Coordinate purchasing and material deliveries.
• Manage logistics to a remote island Lokasi.
• Ensure materials and equipment arrive on schedule.
• Monitor inventory and prevent shortages that could delay construction.

Budget Control

• Monitor project expenditures.
• Review contractor claims and supplier invoices.
• Track budget versus actual spending.
• Assist ownership in evaluating variations and additional works.

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and government authorities.
• Manage local labour and contractor relationships.
• Maintain professional communication between all stakeholders.

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

• Promote a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and site safety procedures.
• Support sustainable construction practices.

What We Are Looking For

Essential Experience

• Minimum 8 years of construction or project management experience.
• Proven experience delivering hospitality, resort, villa, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong practical construction knowledge.
• Ability to manage contractors and site teams effectively.
• Experience in remote or challenging project environments.
• Strong organisational Reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English.

Highly Desirable

• Experience in Indonesia.
• Experience with resort or hospitality developments.
• Experience on island, marine, or remote-Lokasi projects.
• Engineering, construction management, architecture, or related background.
• Good Indonesian language skills.
