Fashion Designer Assistant Internship

we are looking for a passionate Fashion Designer Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the product creation process — from researching trends to sourcing materials and documenting sampling progress. This position does not require a formal fashion design background, but you must be deeply enthusiastic about fashion and highly aware of current styles and trends.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties:

• Conduct fashion and product trend research to support seasonal development.

• Source fabrics, trims, and accessories from suppliers and markets.

• Document sampling progress, including fittings, revisions, and updates.

Optional / Growth Opportunities:

• Observe and learn from the sampling team in pattern-making and sewing.

• Share ideas and propose design concepts when relevant.

Requirements

• Strong passion for fashion and trend awareness (formal design background not required).

• Ability to create clear and structured reports/presentations (e.g., slides).

• Comfortable with independent fieldwork, including market visits and supplier sourcing.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tasks independently.
