Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance and Accounting Staff to join our growing food and beverage retail company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions (AP/AR, journal entries, general ledger).

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.

  • Prepare financial statements and reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in developing annual budgets and forecasts.

  • Monitor actual vs. budgeted performance and provide variance analysis.

  • Support cost control and profitability analysis across stores/outlets.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure timely submission of tax reports (VAT, income tax, withholding).

  • Liaise with external auditors and government authorities.

  • Maintain compliance with local accounting regulations and company policies.

Inventory and Cost Control

  • Coordinate with operations to ensure accurate inventory valuation.

  • Analyze food and beverage cost trends and suggest improvements.

  • Review pricing strategies and margin optimization.

Cash and Banking

  • Monitor daily cash flow and bank reconciliations.

  • Manage petty cash and store remittances.

  • Ensure proper reconciliation of POS systems with bank deposits.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in retail or F&B industry.

  • Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and multi-branch operations is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, Xero, or similar).

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).

  • Familiar with tax regulations and financial reporting standards (PSAK or IFRS).

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive problem-solving and time management.

Languages

  • Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia
