Social Media Optimization Specialist

About the role

Orca Communication is seeking an experienced Social Media Optimization Specialist to join our dynamic team in South Jakarta, Jakarta. In this contract role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to drive engagement, increase brand awareness and achieve our clients digital marketing goals.

What youll be doing

• Manage and optimize social media campaigns across various social media platforms.

• Create compelling, on-brand content that resonates with target audiences.

• Write clear and engaging copy in both English and Indonesian for captions, posts, and other digital content.

• Monitor and analyse social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

• Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging and brand identity across all channels.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.

• Attend regular team meetings and provide updates on campaign performance.

What were looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in social media marketing or digital marketing.

2. Proficient in using social media management tools.

3. Strong understanding of social media algorithms and optimization techniques.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Indonesian.

5. Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different platforms.

6. Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance metrics and draw actionable insights.

7. Familiarity with social media advertising, including setting up and managing paid campaigns.

8. Proven track record of delivering successful social media campaigns that drive tangible results.
