Primary Job Role :

The Credit and Fraud Risk Analyst is responsible for evaluating customer creditworthiness and safeguarding the digital lending ecosystem through data-driven risk assessment and fraud prevention. This role combines credit analysis and end-to-end fraud investigation, leveraging transactional and behavioral data to identify risk patterns, detect anomalies, and support accurate lending decisions. The Posisi works closely with cross-functional teams—including Risk, Product, Data, and Operations—to enhance credit policies, optimize fraud detection strategies, and maintain portfolio quality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced fintech environment, with a strong focus on balancing risk control and customer experience.

Job Description :

1. Analyze credit data, financial statements, and customer profiles to assess the level of risk in lending decisions.
2. Conduct end-to-end fraud investigations, ensuring thorough analysis, proper documentation, and timely resolution of each case.
3. Identify fraud patterns and credit risk trends, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and improve decision-making.
4. Prepare comprehensive credit and fraud investigation reports, summarizing findings and providing clear recommendations for approval, denial, or further action.
5. Monitor existing credit facilities and perform periodic reviews to ensure ongoing creditworthiness and detect potential fraud risks.
6. Perform daily monitoring and quality review of Credit Analyst agents to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards.
7. Collaborate with the Credit Analyst Leader and cross-functional teams to resolve cases, enhance processes, and implement effective credit and fraud policies.
8. Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date credit and fraud investigation records, databases, and documentation.

Job Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in Fraud Investigation, Fraud Analysis, Credit Analysis, or KYC within Fintech, Banking, or Multifinance industries
3. Strong understanding of personal loan fraud, payment fraud, and Credit Analyst/KYC review processes
4. Proficient in data analysis with the ability to interpret trends and detect anomalies
5. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
6. Good communication and stakeholder management skills
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
