Role Description - General Manager, Finance & Accounting

This is a full-time, on-site Posisi based in Tebet, Jakarta. The General Manager, Finance & Accounting will oversee cash flow management for the construction business, manage banking relationships, ensure tax compliance, and maintain accuracy and integrity in the Perusahaan’s financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Cash Flow Management: Ensure availability of operational funds for projects in Sumatra & Papua as well as Head Office operations, including prioritization of vendor/subcontractor payments
• Funding & Banking: Source, manage, and negotiate financing facilities (Working Capital Loans/Equipment Investment Loans) at competitive rates. Manage Bank Guarantees (Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Advance Payment Bond)
• Financial Control: Conduct internal audits on project costs to prevent cost leakages and ensure Project Managers operate in alignment with RAP (Project Budget Plan)
• Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance: Prepare consolidated Financial Statements (Balance Sheet & P/L) in accordance with PSAK standards for Directors, Banks, and Tax Authorities. Ensure full tax compliance with a target of Zero Tax Penalty
• Business Feasibility Analysis: Provide financial analysis for new projects, including cash flow viability, margin evaluation, and financial risk assessment

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a GM Finance / Senior Finance Manager, ideally in:
• Mid- to large-scale Construction/Property companies, or
• Corporate Banking (handling syndicated loans/construction working capital), or
• Financial Consulting / Big 4 firms with construction/infrastructure clients.
• Construction Finance: Strong understanding of project financial characteristics (progress billing, retention, advance payments, physical vs financial progress)
• Banking & Treasury: Strong relationships with banks for Working Capital (KMK) facilities and Bank Guarantees (SKBDN)
• Tax Planning: Deep knowledge of construction-related taxation (PPh Final 4(2), PPN, PPh 21) and legal tax efficiency strategies
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is an advantage
