Geologist

About the role

As a Geologist at PT Sinotech Engineering Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in the companys project operations, especially in conducting geological surveys and assessments to support our engineering projects.

What youll be doing

• Carry out geological field investigations and data collection to support project planning and execution

• Analyze geological data and prepare comprehensive reports on the geological conditions of project sites

• Provide technical advice and recommendations to the engineering team based on your geological expertise

• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure geological risks are identified and mitigated

What were looking for

• Degree in Geology or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Geologist, preferably in the consulting engineering industry

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret geological data and identify potential risks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the multinational team

• Familiarity with geological survey equipment and software

• Willingness to work at the project site, East Kalimantan

• Having experience in a Hydropower Plant project will be an advantage.

• Having a related professional certification (SKA/SKK) will be an advantage.
