GM Service & Maintenance - Heavy Equipment
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive aftersales strategies aligned with the companys overall business objectives to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue.
Oversee all aspects of the aftersales department, including service operations, parts logistics, and workshop productivity, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
Implement and manage robust processes to deliver exceptional customer service, focusing on resolving issues, managing warranty claims, and improving the overall customer satisfaction index (CSI).
Maximize profitability through the sale of labor, parts, and value-added services like service plans and extended warranties.
Provide expert support, market intelligence, and business planning assistance to the dealership network to improve their retail operations, service quality, and customer loyalty.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in automotive engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
10+ years of experience in aftersales or service operations in Commercial Vehicle / Heavy Equipment industry. Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (Service Manager, After sales Manager, or higher)
Deep understanding of commercial vehicle systems, Administration & KPIs
Service & Parts sales development
Branch development
Service & Parts Contract Development, understanding of warranty claim processes and service contract profitability
Establish in depth Key Account Managers. Key customer service, parts, and ARC growth
On site parts, service control
Experienced in dealing with the principals regarding technical concerns and parts availability
Obtain and maintain Dealer Operating Standards
Familiar with CRM, inventory control systems, and workshop scheduling tools.
Knowledge of local regulations for commercial vehicle service
