Head Chef / Head Kitchen (Dimsum, Wok, BBQ)

Job Description:

  • Ensure the quality and presentation of food served

  • Responsible for daily food preparation and in the assigned station in the kitchen in accordance with the established company menus and recipes

  • Responsible for the evaluation and manage for the ability and performance of the kitchen (Back of House) team

  • Supervise the implementation of food safety and hygiene regulations in all sections

  • Ensure the accuracy of the raw material or supplies order quantity and quality

  • Responsible for stocks and control of wastage, in according to company standards

  • Assist in maintaining and improving upon budgeted food cost

  • Manage kitchen staff`s work schedules

  • Design standardized food presentation guidelines for each dishes

Job Requirements

  • Max age 45 years old

  • Min High School Diploma education, majoring in hospitality / food service is a plus

  • Min 3 years of experience in the same position/position

  • Proficient in Chinese Cuisine (Wok, Dimsum, BBQ)

  • Must be able to do food costing

  • Have an excellent knowledge of kitchen staff work control and quality of raw materials to production process

  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Have strong initiative & leadership ability and motivation in working, honesty, and responsibility

  • Willing to work on weekends (Saturday & Sunday), public holidays, and shift work system.

  • Willing to work in non-halal (pork) restaurant

  • Willing to work in all GF Culinary Brands (Jakarta)
