Job Requirements:
Marine Engineer or Naval Architect preferred
Minimum 5-9 years relevant experience, with at least 2 in a docking lead role
Strong technical knowledge of vessel systems, repair processes, and classification standards
Project management skills with budgeting and scheduling expertise
Excellent coordination and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee vessel drydocking activities (commercial and technical)
Prepare drydock specifications, scope of work, and budgets
Liaise with shipyards, class surveyors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution
Monitor progress, safety, quality, and timelines during docking
Ensure all repairs, surveys, and modifications meet regulatory standards
Control costs and approve variations where necessary
Prepare post-docking reports and cost analysis
Maintain records of docking history, lessons learned, and improvement actions
Collaborating with Technical Superintendents and procurement teams
