HEAD OF PURCHASING

What youll be doing

• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to meet the companys operational and financial objectives

• Manage a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship and performance management

• Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with suppliers, leveraging the companys purchasing power

• Continuously analyse market trends, supplier performance and inventory levels to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering a mutually beneficial partnership

• Implement and monitor procurement policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards

• Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans and provide recommendations to senior management

What were looking for

• Experience as Purchasing Import.

• Must have at least 5 years of Purchasing manufacture experience (experience from plastic manufacturing is preferred)

• Proficient in handling import documents. Have channels with many vendors of raw materials / spare parts for production machines.

• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing effective purchasing strategies and policies

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships

• Proficient in data analysis, cost management and inventory optimisation techniques

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial engineer, or a related field

• Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards (especially ISO 9001)

• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams

• Placement at HO Cengkareng - West Jakarta.

• Willing to follow the offline selection process at the HO Cengkareng - West Jakarta office.
