Import Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Import Manager to join our growing team at PT Deus Ex Machina Indonesia. This full-time position will be based in our office in Bali, and will play a key role in managing the companys import operations.

What youll be doing

• Oversee all aspects of the import process, including customs clearance, documentation, and logistics coordination

• Develop and implement efficient import procedures and policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations

• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to optimise the import process

• Maintain accurate records and reporting of import activities

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

• Provide guidance and support to the wider team on import-related matters

What were looking for

• At least 5 years of experience in an import management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

• Thorough understanding of import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Proficient in using relevant import management software and tools

• Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
