About the role

As the Import Specialist Officer at Eiger Ekowisata Nusantara, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and compliant import of goods and materials essential to the companys operations. This contract position is based in Bandung Regency, West Java, and will require a deep understanding of import/export regulations and customs procedures within the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.

What youll be doing

  • Coordinate the import process from start to finish, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics management
  • Ensure all import activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to resolve any import-related issues
  • Maintain detailed records and reporting on all import activities
  • Continuously monitor changes in import/export regulations and update internal processes accordingly
  • Support the broader logistics team with other tasks as needed

    • What were looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an import/export or customs clearance role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in relevant software tools and technologies used in the logistics industry
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think quickly to resolve issues
