Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Speaking/English Speaking Business Analyst with at least 3 years of experience to bridge the communication gap between our manufacturing clients and technical development teams. You will play a pivotal role in gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and ensuring that technical solutions align perfectly with the client’s operational needs. This role requires a blend of technical documentation expertise and exceptional bilingual communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering: Lead discussions with Japanese and Indonesian stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements.
  • Process Modeling: Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and system wireframes using tools such as Draw.io, Visio, or similar software.
  • Documentation: Prepare professional-grade business documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FSD), and user manuals in both English and Japanese as required.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the client's business units and FPT’s technical teams to ensure clear understanding and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Solution Validation: Participate in the review of technical designs and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the final product meets the defined business criteria.
  • Strategic Communication: Facilitate meetings and workshops, providing real-time interpretation and translation of technical concepts for non-technical Japanese stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Language Proficiency:Fluent in Japanese (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) and English. Ability to communicate complex business ideas clearly in both languages is a must.
  • Software Tools: Advanced proficiency in diagramming tools like Draw.io, MS Visio, or Lucidchart.
  • Core BA Skills: Strong ability in requirement elicitation, gap analysis, and creating high-quality business documentation.

Soft Skills:

  • Direct Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage expectations and communicate directly with various levels of stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach to documenting technical requirements.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Direct experience working within the Manufacturing domain.
  • Prior experience handling Japanese or Indonesian corporate customers.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a global delivery model.
