Interior Designer

Job Description:

• Collaborating with clients to understand their design needs and preferences

• Conceptualising and developing interior design plans, incorporating elements of space planning, colour schemes, furniture selection, and materials

• Preparing detailed design drawings, renderings, and presentations to effectively communicate design ideas

• Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of design projects

• Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary to meet client requirements and deadlines

• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and materials to continually enhance the firms design capabilities

What were looking for

• A bachelors degree in Interior Design or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the Interior Design industry, preferably in a similar role

• Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong understanding of design principles, including space planning, colour theory, and materials selection

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present design ideas effectively

• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines
