IT Support Coordinator

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree (S1) from a university in an IT-related major: Computer Engineering, Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Systems, Information Technology; or at least 5 years of experience in the IT field

  • Minimum GPA of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale)

  • Understand the SDLC concept (Waterfall and/or Agile)

  • Possess an IT-related certification

  • Strong and detail-oriented analytical skills

  • Understanding one or more programming languages is a plus

  • Good knowledge of databases (experience with databases is an added value)

  • Experience in leading a team (especially in IT)

  • Experience in application development and/or IT operations teams for at least 3 years

  • Familiar with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and their supporting software

  • Skilled in IT troubleshooting, both hardware and software

  • Knowledge of data backup procedures, system security, and disaster recovery

  • Experience in using and configuring software (applications and OS)

  • Able to compile team work reports and provide recommendations for team improvement

  • Effective and quick problem-solver under pressure

  • Experienced in creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and documenting workflows to ensure operational continuity

  • Able to plan and carry out preventive maintenance regularly without being directed

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, conduct health checks and analyze existing databases; recommend improvement steps based on incidents, including problems found during operations

  • Implement improvements to enhance application and database operational processes

  • Support Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) testing for applications

  • Provide support to meet internal and external audit data needs

  • Support promotion, change, and enhancement activities in the Change Management unit

  • Support application testing in the Production environment when there are changes or enhancements

  • Proactively provide efficient and optimal database management solutions

  • Diagnose and resolve application issues with effective solutions

  • Conduct preventive maintenance

  • Proactively trace and communicate alerts or incidents related to applications, both internally and externally

  • Perform routine maintenance and checks, including: Reporting findings of potential system malfunctions and Tuning performance if storage and database show performance degradation trends

  • Perform corrective maintenance/problem management

  • Carry out repair activities when database disruptions occur
