Purpose of the Role

Provide technical support for the Automation Infrastructure system across all operational departments assigned to troubleshoot problems, support operations to ensure production processes continue according to plan, support maintenance to ensure process equipment and Automation Infrastructure continue to operate as required, support the project team during the design process, and review improvement plans to ensure operational and production performance remains in line with the expected plan.

Accountabilities

1. Provide technical support for the Automation Infrastructure system across all area departments, assigned to troubleshoot problems, support operations, maintenance, and project teams during design or upgrade planning, and execute simple automation projects in a time-efficient, energy-efficient, cost effective, labor-efficient, target-oriented, and quality-oriented manner.
2. Assigned as a project Automation Infrastructure system design engineer for simple projects to execute and deliver the projects (hosting, applications, cybersecurity, and control network systems).
3. Involved in projects/tasks during the project implementation phase (construction, commissioning, and startup) and ensuring all activities in the project implementation phase are carried out according to standard procedures.

5. Involved in process safety assessments required by the project/task such as Risk Assessment, HAZOP, JSA, SWP, HIRA, LOPA, etc.
6. Collecting data to analyze problems or incidents that occur and to prepare documents for designing and planning improvements.
7. Implement the automation department's annual safety program in its work to prevent incidents/accidents and achieve compliance with the process plant department's safety effectiveness/improvement program.
8. Implement an annual personnel development program for assigned automation personnel to achieve competency in automation personnel and support career and succession planning, as well as to maintain current automation technical skills to ensure they can perform their work technically and provide effective automation technical support for process plant management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, informatics engineering, information system, dan computer science.
• Hands-on experience with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server, storage, and backup hardware.
• Proficient in platforms such as VMware or OpenStack.
• Familiar with Automation Functional Description and international standard (NIST SP 800-82, ISA).
• Familiar with databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, or Redis is a plus. Possession of a Cisco Certified Associate (CCNA) certification is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Automation Supporting Software Application (HMI, Network System, and Automation DC Status Monitoring.
• Preferable having knowledge and experience related to Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Systems (SMK3L).
