Lead Solution Engineer

Job Summary

As a senior figure in the Solution Engineering team, Lead Solution Engineer becomes in charge of solution projects by applying engineering best practices, providing technical guidance to other team members, and being trusted with more autonomies as they help the team implement high quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and product managers to understand their business needs

• Estimate work needed to build solutions

• Design and develop custom solutions using Mekari Officeless

• Ensure high quality deliverables within the team by implementing good testing strategy and quality practices, including self-testing the solution.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and define project scope.

• Integrate low-code solutions with existing systems and applications.

• Optimize performance and ensure scalability of low-code applications.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. Helps unblock team tasks by making swift decisions and proper escalation when necessary.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in engineering best practices.

Requirements

• At least 2 and half years of experience in software development, especially in the backend side.

• At least 1 year of experience in leading a software project

• Educational background in Information Technology or Computer Science.

• Have a good understanding of Javascript

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Understand how to use REST API

• Understand Database & SQL

• Strong aptitude to learn new technologies

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
