About the customer:
The customer is a logistics and supply chain specialist, providing warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment services to businesses across multiple industries focused on FMCG products. They manage a diverse range of products, including consumer goods, electronics, apparel, health & beauty items, and eCommerce merchandise. By leveraging advanced technology, they optimize inventory and distribution processes, ensuring fast, reliable, and scalable solutions for B2B and retail partners. Their office location is near Canggu.
Job Summary:
Logistics Manager will lead and manage end-to-end logistics operations with a strong focus on freight forwarding, import/export, and international supply chain coordination. This role involves overseeing warehousing, transportation, customs processes, and order fulfillment for a dynamic logistics company. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and experienced in handling international shipments across sea, air, and land—preferably in fast-paced sectors such as FMCG, trading, or eCommerce.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage end-to-end logistics operations with a strong focus on international freight forwarding, import/export documentation, and customs clearance.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across sea, air, and land, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Work closely with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and related government agencies (e.g., Bea Cukai) to ensure regulatory compliance.
Lead warehouse operations including cargo handling, inventory accuracy, and space optimization using WMS and other digital tools.
Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Customer Service) and external logistics partners (3PLs, transporters, agents).
Track and analyze key logistics KPIs (shipping lead times, clearance times, cost efficiency, etc.) to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Establish and implement SOPs to ensure standardized and compliant logistics operations across the supply chain.
Develop logistics budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding, with a solid background in import/export operations and customs clearance.
In-depth knowledge of international shipping procedures, HS codes, INCO terms, and documentation (e.g., PIB, Bill of Lading, Packing List, COO).
Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional logistics teams and coordinating with external logistics providers.
Strong command of WMS, inventory systems, and transportation planning tools.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Willing to be based near Canggu, Bali.
For this position, the clients budget is between Rp20.000.000 - Rp25.000.000 /month
