About the role

PT Golden Cup Printing is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineering (ME) Manager to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is based in Kendal, Central Java, and will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical engineering operations and ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

1. Managing and leading the mechanical engineering team to achieve operational excellence
2. Developing and implementing engineering strategies, processes and systems to optimise production
3. Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing corrective and preventive measures
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products
5. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and recommending improvements
6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental regulations
7. Mentoring and developing the mechanical engineering team to build their capabilities

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar managerial role within the manufacturing industry
3. Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of mechanical engineers
4. Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles, processes and troubleshooting
5. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and project management skills
6. Proficient in using relevant engineering software and tools
7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
8. Commitment to fostering a safe and efficient work environment
9. Fluent in English
