Music Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate music lessons that align with the schools curriculum and philosophy.

• Teach vocal and instrumental music, music theory, and appreciation to students of varying skill levels.

• Organize and lead school performances, concerts, and musical events..

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth.

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects.

• Maintain classroom instruments and resources, ensuring proper care and usage.

• Stay updated with current trends in music education and integrate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Music Education, Music Performance, Education or a related field.

• Teaching certification or relevant pedagogical training preferred.

• Proficiency in multiple instruments and vocal techniques.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Experience working with children in an educational setting.

• Passion for music and a commitment to student development.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to lead choirs, bands, or ensembles.

• Familiarity with digital music tools and software.

• Experience in Montessori or progressive education environments (if applicable)
